Walking is a great overall exercise, good for the whole body. You will lose fat in all areas of your body as your weight drops - not just in one area. You are also conditioning your cardiovascular system, especially with brisk walking.

Good luck and welcome aboard. Walking is great for me there is a better feeling for me after walking i can only go a half mile but i keep trying.

I used to walk a mile I only can do half mile now but working my way back up.
