hello my name is James i just started tkd about a month ago. starting at 37 has defiantly been a challenge. i started TKD because i love martial arts, and training. i go 2x a week for 60 min etch. hopefully next month i will increase to 2x 120 min sessions. and finally up to 3x 120 min sessions. i'm open for any helpful input or encouragement

I just joined back after taking a ten year hiadious. I studies the art about 2 years then. You will get your BB a lot sooner than 50 :). Stay focused and keep the drive. If your Dojang alows testing once a month and you study hard and practice hard you will be suprised how fast you get there. Good luck!!!

Hi there, welcome. I just started a month ago and also have class 3X a week. I absolutely love it. I remember how strong I am and how nice it is not to hide my strength. Anyways, I just earned my yellow belt. I am hooked. I can't give you any advice other than my master is 69 and he can kick all our butts. So I am sure by 45 you have your black belt.

Hi! I have no advice since I'm new to the art. I just joined a class (3x week). Hopefully I will earn my BB by the time I'm 50. lol (I'm 43 right now) Anyhow, I've always enjoyed kickboxing and MMA and I grew up with a lot of guys who had BB's in TWD. I've always thought it was pretty cool!
