That is amazing that you have that many girls, and especially that many that are active!!! My older DD's Senior troop is only like 15 with 8/9 active. They want to go camping but are having a heck of a time finding a weekend that they are all available!!!
Congrats on finding a great partner for this journey!!!!

I'd rather be camping!!!

My older DD is finishing up her Journey and then will be ready to start on the Gold. My younger DD is just about ready to do her Silver. I have a troop of 20 with about half of them who are very active. My older DD will also be doing CIT training this summer. My life is GS during the school year. Even this summer is devoted to GS with an International Camporee and two weeks of Day Camp.
I was directed to this group after posting about my GS-related crafting projects on another team board. I am the leader of a Cadette-Ambassador Troop, a member of my Service Unit Team and an outdoor facilitator for Girl Scouts of Northern California. In addition to my own fitness journey, I try to encourage the girls in my troop to be active and participate in outdoor activities. I have a co-leader who has already gotten me to walk a half marathon with her and has challenged me to walk/run 1000 miles this year. I think we'll be running a 5K in June.
