Hi: I am new to the team. I just have been on the CPAP for about a month. I have got fairly used to it so far. It isn't as hard as I thought. But I still don't sleep very long at a time. I sleep a couple hours, wake up, stay up for a while, put the CPAP back on and go back to sleep for a few hours. I am still very tired during the day. That was something I was hoping the CPAP would help with. My sleep schedule is all messed up. I have severe Restless Legs syndrome (EKbom syndrome) and that is what messed me up because I wouldn't sleep, but walk the floor most of the night. I used to say that I went to sleep when the "birds sang" because at about 5:30 am when I would hear the birds sing I would be able to go to sleep. Also I take meds that the side effects are insomnia---I can't win for losing. I don't see any solution in sight.
Any how, here I am a new member.

Hi LJSongAgain, I've copied your post and put it into a new thread so maybe some of the members who've been posting in the General Team Discussion Forum will see it and join in and give us some answers about how they started out.
