Weighing" in at 4''10"----And will be 50 in less than a week!! You can do this.....just take things slow and shoot for small attainable goals. As you reach a small goal - set another. Before you know it you are making progress!!!

Baby Steps will get you to the same place as giant leaps as long as you are going in the right direction!!
I am also 5'2" and we "short" people know how every stinking pound counts. I had 40 pounds to lose and I only have 10 more to go! If I can do it, so can you. I am in my mid-50's.
Set smaller goals (don't focus on the 70 pounds); focus on 10 pounds by the end of March or whatever you feel is reasonalbe.
Use the nutrition and fitness trackers. They are the best tools!

I am on a gluten free plan right now from a nutritionist and it is working for me...
