You will find a great deal of support and different approaches from a broad spectrum of ww members. I use the recipes, information, and at this point the support of individuals with similar goals. I track using what is closest to the "old plan" which empahsized the balance between food groups. Currently I use the food pyramid with diabetic portions as I have sugar issues. When I first began meetings I used the point system and occasionally will compare my progress with the point calculator. I am excited about new ww plan. The empahis on balanced nutrition, exercise and healthy guidelines of living match my personal preferences. When I began the point system it was new and although nutrition was emphasized unless a person was well schooled in the concepts it almost seemed that anything would be ok as long as the total intake remained within a certain point value. WW has always had a plan based on sound principles and it continues to evolve.

I mostly track my food the WW way. I track my exercise on Spark People. I like to try Spark recipes. Good luck on your journey.

I track myself like I have been doing for years and years. Spark is nice, but I like my WW food to be measured the WW way. I'm afraid I'd slip up otherwise. I may be at goal, but I still can't trust myself to eat without counting.
No one ever got up in the morning wishing she'd eaten more the night before.

I am a WW member for 3 weeks. I love to cook, and am looking for ways to cook good healthy meals while being in this Sparkspeople thing. It is alot for me to manage, but it does look like fun. How do you all manage to do both, when they both want your food tracking and exercise tracking? Do you do both? See? ha ha I am confused. All I know is I love to cook, love to eat, and am always looking to find great WW recipes.
