You will find a great deal of support and different approaches from a broad spectrum of ww members. I use the recipes, information, and at this point the support of individuals with similar goals. I track using what is closest to the "old plan" which empahsized the balance between food groups. Currently I use the food pyramid with diabetic portions as I have sugar issues. When I first began meetings I used the point system and occasionally will compare my progress with the point calculator. I am excited about new ww plan. The empahis on balanced nutrition, exercise and healthy guidelines of living match my personal preferences. When I began the point system it was new and although nutrition was emphasized unless a person was well schooled in the concepts it almost seemed that anything would be ok as long as the total intake remained within a certain point value. WW has always had a plan based on sound principles and it continues to evolve.
