Hello All, It has been a while since I was last active on the boards. I joined Spark People almost 2 years ago (it might have been longer than that. I worked hard and lost over 40 lbs! I was really excited but I did not have the push to keep it off :( So here I am back at the weight I was at over 2 years ago! I recently got married (Dec 29th) and I have been thinking about starting the new lifestyle again. Now I am ready and I have a partner willing to take up the process with me. We started this week trying to just become aware of our calorie intake and not eating out. We have gone 4 days of no eating out and I am very proud of that step! Next is starting to lower our calorie intake and start working out. Next week I will be going to the local gym and getting a trial membership and starting that process again. My only fear is since my wife and I are on different work schedules we may not go work out so I have also begun the process of trying to find someone to work out with! I am currently just over 280 lbs and I want to get down to below 200 lbs! Every time I hit a significant number I say oh 10 more lbs is fat I am not. Lets face it people I am FAT and I do not want to be fat anymore! That is why I am hear and why I am deciding that I want to lose weight! This website has helped me in the past and I know it will again!
