Hi my name is Victoria. I am 22 years old and I happened to take a look at my life and myself, and I am unhappy with me. Within the last 3-4 years I have gained almost 55 pounds. So I began looking for a group who could help me get back to me and who I would be accountable to. I also joined because I need to be associated with good people and energy. After doing some cleaning in my personal life and family relationships it's time for me to focus on myself. I want to lose the negative weight that I have gained and get back to my healthy self.

Hello I am new to the group. I just rejoined Sparkpeople. I am back on my weight loss journey. I have a seven month old boy that I love to spend time with. But I have to set time aside for myself at least four times a week at the gym. He has been my excues for to long. I lost 20 pounds after having him. But being inactive caused me to gain it all back. Now I am back where I was before I had him. I going to get my sexy back this summer. Eating good and exercising.

Hello Everyone! My name is Doris and I have been active on SparkPeople for a little over 4 years now. I was browsing teams and looking for something to get and keep me motivated for my recent re-commitment. My most recent goal is to be prepared to participate with my daughter in the Tough Mudder in June 2013. This requires extensive training with weights, which is my least favorite activity to do. to be able to compete, I must build upper body strength, which requires my doing weights. I am hoping to gain additional support and encouragement for the task.
Hi My name is Gia, my spark username is sumthin4me. I have been a member of Sparkpeople for quite some time, years actually, and have been very inconsistent. I'm hoping to really utilize it to the fullest and make it stick this time. I find that my biggest obstacle is support. Even on Sparkpeople, I find that I cannot find a core group of buddies who are consistently visiting the site and showing up as a support system. I'm hoping to change that by joining more teams and posting to boards and getting in on conversations. I hope to find some good support, we all will need it one way or the other to succeed. My long term goal is to drop 123.5 lbs (very specific! LOL), and my short term weight loss goal is to lose 3.5 lbs. My short term long term goal is 20 lbs by October. My other goals include portion control and utilizing the 10 minute philosophy to ensure that I get adequate exercise!
