Debbi, and good luck on your journey. I have been on here for a few years. Never lost any pounds but a few inches. I feel healthy and exercise 3 to 4 times a week. This is the year I am cracking down and determined to lose weight.

A little over 2 months ago, I made a promise to myself that I would get myself in better shape. Hubby and I quit smoking and now it's time to deal with my weight issues. I can't exercise right now (due to surgery) until I get the ok from my doctor but I can start dealing with what I put into my mouth! I am bound and determined to do this and not give up!
I have a few picky eaters in my house and I have to be careful of what I eat since I'm controlling my acid reflex without medication. So I'm definitely looking forward to meeting people dealing with picky eaters. I have one who won't touch an onion and only likes broccoli! As for me, I love raw veggies but can't stand them cooked. I have just discovered that I can eat a sauteed onion without giving me fits like a raw onion does, so that's my new favorite! I want them on everything now..lol
