Welcome from another dog lover. I have a Chihuahua/Terrier, we got him because of an ad on the Internet. I wanted one that looked like he was part pug. My daughter took me to see it and when we saw him I knew he was too big for a lap dog. My Archie was the right size and so cute. He and my hubby were together all the time. Unfortunately I lost my husband last Dec. on his 91st. birthday so Archie and I keep each other company. I allow him to sleep in the recliner that my hubby used, I think he can still smell him.He was not allowed to use it before. I am 83 also still trying to get the weight off so it will be easier to get out of my chair, of course for my health too. Hope that cold will fly away fast. Haven't had one in years but I sure remember how awful they can be. Rest as much as you can. Come back when you feel better. Hugs, Betty
