I'm returning to Spark after a break. I originally joined Spark People while recovering from an eating disorder. The food tracker helped me monitor whether I was eating enough food.
I am now fully recovered, and my metabolism was really affected by my illness. So, now I've got a few pounds to lose, which is hard for me to admit.
I briefly tried weight watchers, and quickly realized that their policy about free fruit is silly. You've got to account for those calories. I was skeptical from the beginning, but it seems to work for a lot of people. However, I've read that the newest point system is getting a lot of complaints from long term members. Also, Spark People is more flexible, and I like that.
I am happy to be back at Spark, and I look forward to participating in this team!
