Hi everyone!! My name is Pam and I'm obviously a big Yankee fan :-) favorite current players include Cano, Granderson, Mo and Pettitte, but my all time favorite Yankee is Paul O'Neill, who I actually saw at The Westchester Mall once! Very cool.
Anyway, some quick info on me:
I’m 25, living and working in the NYC metro area.
I’m 5’9 and have an athletic build (with an outer layer of fat now!)
My goal weight is between 140-145.
I used to be very active, and have run (and completed!) a ½ marathon a few years ago. I doubt I can run 2 miles now…
Since working (and going to grad school at night) I’ve COMPLETELY let myself go…
Stepped on a scale this morning for the first time in MONTHS to see 180 staring back at me. Yikes!
I’d love someone to talk to that has 30-40 lbs to lose, enjoys working out and is committed to shedding the weight.
I would definitely enjoy swapping exercise routines,recipes, and it can't hurt to have someone I can commiserate with on the ebb and flow of the Yankee season.
I intend to use this site as my journal, my inspiration, and as a tool for a healthier me!
