Hey Misty! I'm like you, major horror movie fan and I also have a huge scary/horror movie collection. I think Phantasm was the first movie that really freaked me out when I saw it, this was one of the only movies that gave me nightmares...very cool. Yes, I have to say that the first Saw movie was also my fav, I didn't figure that one out either. I'm usually pretty good at knowing what is going to happen before it happens.
I just finished watching one of the 2006 - 8 films to die for called Dark Ride, it was pretty good, although I did figure something out pretty early but it was a lot of fun to watch. I also really love zombie movies, I hear George Romero is making a brand new one called Diary of the Dead, sounds pretty cool.
Anyway, it's great to meet another horror afficionado. Welcome!!
Starting this journey again at 397 pounds. No more playing around it's time to get down and boogy!!

I joined sp in March, and lost some slowly, then just got serious at the beginning of the summer, and went back to low carb, which has always worked great for me. I love the Atkins diet and always feel my best when I eat that way. So, this time I'm sticking with it and making low carb my lifetime way of eating.
I also read up on Kimkins, which is a more agressive version of a low carb diet, but you will lose some serious weight if you can do it... I have a Kimkins team where it's all explained if you want to give it a look-see. (see link on my sparkpage)
I just started exercising... walking 30 minutes a day, doing a few crunches... nothing too hard :) I'm not much of an exerciser either. My dream exercise routine is... to live close enough to a beach to do a morning walk there each morning. I would definitely LOVE that.
you have lost so much weight ..how long did that take what did you do ...I am having such a hard time I started four days ago and already had 2 bad days ..I feel like I am never gonna do this ...what drives me crazy is losing weight will make me happier make me more attractive , healthier , more comfortable ...and I know exactly how to do it but I don't ...why ! and I love to work out ...I have agym in my house I live by a lake with a vita course..I am a member of a gym ..I have a pool...but yet I hardly excersise ..I really really want to seriously want to I have to ...sheeesh it is so frustrating ...just do it goes through my head every day .
I have that book! Once had grand writing ambitions myself, but just didn't devote enought time, things happened and life.... well, ... didn't turn that way for me... but who knows what the future holds! :)
yes I love to write I have written alot of poetry and I am currently working on a horror series kinda like goosebumps style, but it is all connected ...dont want to give it away ...nothing published yet, but that is my goal ...my idol stephen king ..he is the man..he wrote a book called stephen king on writing a must have for all writers..it truely inspired me ..I was always told by my teachers to be a writer but I got pregnant and had to do what I had to to survive , so your dreams kinda get pushed aside...but my baby is all grown up so now its me time , even though I still have to get her through college.
welcome to the team misty! I'm envious of your collection! Hang in there and stay focused on your plan, the weight will come off. Here's tip... if you're having popcorn and junk while watching your movies, .... um... stop it. :) Keep plenty of no cal drinks by your side and that will satisfy the hand to mouth habit (that I have while watching a movie!)
Hey..'Play Misty for me'..LOL. Welcome. I'm a horror fan too. The Phantasm movies always freaked me out. That tall creepy guy..wouldn't want to meet him in a dark or light alley. I just know if you stick around here and use the food tracker it will help. I'm thinking of an older movie maybe you know the name of..it's got James Farrantino and it's about a town where ppl are killed and then brought back to life. Very creepy stuff. Anyway..glad you joined. Laura
