This outdoors woman has already lost a whopping 37 pounds and is well on her way in reaching her health and fitness goals.
Just a little bit at a time...
I have been battling weight my whole life. I have gone up, I have gone down. The yo-yo'ing has got to stop.
At my heaviest I topped out at 235lbs. That might not seem too bad, but I am only 5'1" tall. The best weight-loss success I have ever had was getting down to 195lbs. I am now back up to 218lbs. This has become unacceptable to me.
Goals for 2013:
- Read and implement the stages from The New Rules of Lifting for Women.
- Restart and complete Couch to 5k.
- Complete a second triathlon.
- Run a 5k without walking.
- Drop from a size 18 to a size 12.
- Drop from 215 to 175.
- Drink 100 ounces of water a day.
- Eat more fruits and veggies.
