Welcome to the group!
We're glad to have you with us!
...the problem with people these days is
they've forgotten we're really just animals ...
We did not create the web of life; we are but a strand in it.
We don't have souls. We ARE souls. We have bodies.

Welcome. I know what you mean. I lost 105 lbs back in the 80's doing low carb, kept it off for over 18 years, but after remarrying in 1996, everything changed. So now I'm trying to find my way all over again.
The one thing I have learned, is don't give up on yourself. It sounds like you have not done that, so you are definately on the right path in my book. Keep trying...don't give in!
I did low carb years ago with great success. Not sure why I ever stopped, lazy I guess. I gained another 5lbs over the holidays and it's just not going away on it's own. Go figure! So I woke up this morning got on the scale and after walking about 5 miles total over the weekend, watching what I ate (or so I thought) the scale went up another pound. Right now I weigh more than I did going into the delivery room with both boys who are now 24 and 16. Something has to change. My husband is pretty supportive so I am going to do this. I am going to do this! I will be checking in as often as I can here for motivation and support. This has been a great help to me in the past and I know it will be again. Here is to day one of a new low carb life.
