I, too, welcome you to our team! I am sure you will learn a lot from the other members here, and at times, we will learn from you!
If you have any questions as you learn about the Faith, please ask.
AMSKONK mentioned a book called Rediscovering Catholicism. I am thoroughly enjoying that book right now. Something that Matthew Kelly mentions is that some of our habitual sins, our ingrained habits, our 'demons' as you say, can only be conquered by fasting and prayer. That phrase (from Christ's own words) really struck me when I read it, and I am working out how to incorporate more prayer and fasting in my daily life to help to conquer my own demons.
All the best to you!

Welcome! I am a Cradle Catholic. I have been reading a lot of books and listening to cd's. My favorite author right now is Matthew Kelly, I am leading a book study on his book, "Rediscover Catholicism" and reading "The Rhythm of Life". I have also bought the New Catholic Answer Bible and The Essential Catholic Survival Guide. They both have answers to tough questions about our faith. Glad you are with us, I pray that we are a good fit for you!

I am also still learning about my faith. I was confirmed in the Catholic church in 1999 after going through RCIA, and last year I repeated RCIA just to learn more. I'm now preparing a list of questions for one of the priests because it seems that the more I learn, the more questions I have! This team is also a great place for getting answers to questions. I'm glad you've joined us. Leslie

I am new to this team and not sure if it will be a good fit for me but I'd like to see what happens. I was baptised Catholic and that's where it ended until recently. I am finding my faith and have started attending the necessary classes to make communion etc. I still struggle with old demons and find some things harder to grasp than others but I am learning more each day. Through prayer I am gaining a new outlook on life. That aside I am 29 years old married with two children, a dog, a cat, and a steady job. I am 6'2 296 lbs. I will offer what I can to this team and look forward to making new friends and learning from all of you. Please be patient with me as again I am new to the faith and not schooled on many topics.......
