Hi Annie, Welcome!! I was just in Stuttgart the first week of March. Is that where you are? It's so beautiful there (if a little on the cold side). Lent is the perfect time to find your way back home to the Church. I'll include you in my prayers.
Welcome to the team, Annie! God is so happy to see you back. CJ is right, Lent is the best time. And we all think you're doing great! Recharging your spiritual commitment back to Him is always not easy but PRAYERS for graces and blessings to guide you all the way certainly is the most powerful tool. Don't forget to come to our Blessed Mother who is always here to guide us to her Son.

Welcome! Since you work at the Armed Forces Hotel in Germany, I assume you come in contact with many of our troops and their families. What a difference you can make in their lives with your spirituality infused hospitality.
to you, Annie! I'm glad you've joined us. I agree that Lent is a wonderful time to be on your quest! A little prayer I say quite often, is: Teach me what I need to know; lead me where I have to go. Join in any of the threads. Blessings to you! Leslie

Welcome,Annie! God will bless you for coming back to Him. I'm so excited for you~a trip to the Confessional might be the BEST jumpstart back into a full embrace with Christ. Enjoy your time in Germany!

Hi everyone! My name is Annie and I'm a 22 year old American living in Southern Germany while I work at an Armed Forces hotel! I have lived here for 6 months and will be leaving on May 1st to go back home to my wonderful family. I was born and raised Catholic, but hit a hard streak over the past few years where I lost my faith and strayed from the Church and from God's message. HOWEVER with the help of my wonderful roommate, I have been striving to live in the light of God's love. I am hoping to recharge my spiritual commitment to God and rebuild my relationship with the Church. Any and all encouragement is welcome and needed! I have set some goals for praying and reflecting everyday, while evaluating where I am having the hardest times and straying from the right path.
Thanks for reading and I hope to talk to all of you! -Annie
