I'm sorry that nobody has responded sooner to your concerns. As is the case, i hope you haven't quit SP. Diabetes is a serious condition that everyone that is diagnosed should take serious. It's preventable and curable or atleast managable, if you are willing to put in the effort.
Nobody is telling you that you absolutely can't have your sweets with sweet and condensed milk, just cut back on them. Instead of having them 2 or 3 times a month, have them once a month. Everything is fine in moderation. We just need to find that balance. EXERCISE is going to be your best friend when it comes to preventing and/or maintaining diabetes. Don't look at that as a negative. Find something that that you like to do and do it. It could be as simple as a brisk 30 minute walk 3-5 times a week or as intense as you want. But you'll want to slowly work up to the higher intensity levels.
Also, stay in touch with your doctor, talk to a nutritionist, do everything possible to stay in good health. It's your life you are talking about and you only get one.
Love yourself and others will too.
