What kind of system is it and how does it work? If it requires tape (as in Continuous Glucose Monitor) then I would not be able to use it because I am allergic to the tape.

Thank goodness for this device--It is working well and so much easier to work with than we anticipated. It's taking a huge load off my mind and giving his fingers a rest! Not as worried with the constant "is he low while driving? etc"...Although he doesn't seem to hear it during the night, at least I do, and it's better than the days of me not sleeping and hovering over him, seeing if he seems low and whether or not I should finger stick him. Anyone else using it or a similar system? If your insurance will cover it--Consider it!
