I am a fortyish, married, mom of two, who works 50-60 hours per week. My life can be stressful but Iíve been working on that for a long time and have it pretty much under control. Now, I need to overhaul my routines and habits to kick 20-25 pounds away for good.

Iíve lost my pregnancy weight twice so I know I can do this. Iíve done weight watchers which works fine but SparkPeople is free (yeah, I guess Iím also a cheapskate). I know how to eat

While I sit at work way too much for good health, I have run a lot in the past. Even ultra marathons 10 years, very slowly. I love my 30 minutes of exercise almost everyday. That is my time and pretty much happens consistently 4-5 times per week. I would love to work up to trail running for 1+ hours again. Nice and slow just getting out.

My issue is obviously that I eat too much. Partly due to poor planning. i.e. putting whatever is on hand into my lunch bucket. I am too easily tempted by fast food drive in for breakfast although Iíve managed to keep this to once this week. And, I clearly deserve treats so I have them. Treats have been one of my biggest issues in the past.

I have great support at home.

I found Beck to be helpful about 5 years ago but didnít stick to it. I am going to get the book next month from Audibles so I can listen in the car (as I drive by the fast food!). I was happy to find you all.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Iíve made a career out of planning. That should be helpful on this journey, huh?

Here are my current response cards

I donít want to die early of heart disease or diabetes
I want to look good in my jeans, not like an old, obese woman
I want to be a good role model for my girls
I want to be in control of my eating, not have it control me
I want to feel great and sleep well
Sit at a table to eat and be mindful or you wonít be fulfilled
