No, I am in school. Since I am in Korea I can not practice without my Masters and license. Once we return in 2014 to the states I'll be ready for my practicum and internship finally. Someday I hope to attend the CBT training at Beck Institute. I also like Rogers and feel Person Centered Therapy is a must, plus I like Reality Therapy but I am partial to CBT.
I suffer with depression and use CBT as well. I love it. I will have to look for that workbook, didn't realize they had one. I'm more of an active, hands on person, than a reader!
As for the fatigue, I've had counselors and docs blame the depression, hysterectomy at 19, kids, stress, school, etc. Regardless of what I change or the causes, I've lived with it since my teens and it is only getting worse so I'm hoping for some true answers with helpful treatment.
I have not bought this book yet but intend to eventually. I'm not a reader but I do follow them on facebook. I LOVE Aaron Beck and the CBT methods. I am working on my Masters in Mental Health Counseling and much of my focus is on CBT. It is incredible and proven effective for all eating disorders.
I am 35, married, have 3 teens (19, 18, 16), 2 dogs, 1 cat, and I live in Korea but from Texas. I struggle every day especially with fatigue. I believe fatigue is what keeps the rest of my goals from being accomplished but the doc is working on trying to figure out why I'm so drained.
