Don't know what the scale will show in the morning but..

1 choc chip cookie Friday night and 1 this morning. Notice the number 1 I usually can't have less than 3.

1/2 a cup of Fro Yo (Ben and Jerry's)

2 dates and 10 almonds for dessert today.

No alcohol. No treats when we went to a semi party Friday night after dinner. I didn't eat anything there just had water.

Did not eat anything without sitting down.

The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your
life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on,
rely on, or blame. The gift is yours -- it is an amazing
journey -- and you alone are responsible for the quality of
it. This is the day your life really begins."

New goals:
Eat Positively
Exercise daily (that one is already achieved)
Experiment with 3-5 meals a day
Avoid binge for at least 3 weeks.

Thanks Charlene! My natural coach-i-ness is coming out!

Tonight I have been having hunger feelings. I ate my night snack already, so now it is time to build my resistance muscle. If necessary, I'll go to bed!

I think that tasting is not the problem - - it is the conclusion that you blew it.

You should plan on Friday being a higher day. Put in some planned tasting, and enjoy it all. But then take each next day without saying that you are "off" your plan. Think about the whole combination of life and losing weight. Then make your plan that balances those the best.

Thanks for the welcome. I hope I can help others at some point.

My hardest part of the week is the weekend. I spend most of Friday in the kitchen preparing food for the weekend and that's when I start to taste everything and say oh well I blew it for the weekend. Then the weekend roles in and I start eating everything because I blew it and undo all I did during the week...

I am committed that this week will be different.

Read about it and since I love to read anything and everything wanted to buy the book but was hesitant (my negative voice was talking again). In the end I decided to borrow it from the library and started reading it today. Went out and bought a notebook and some cards and I want to work my way through it slowly.

I lost close to 18 pounds in the last year and then went and put it all on again. I was on primal then Atkins (which is where I lost most of my weight) then back to primal (I need to have me some treats and cant restrict too much or I binge).

Out of desperation I went to a dietitian and said I want to lose the same 18 pounds again but slowly and I don't want to eat bread. She is part of my funded health insurance and her reply was I don't give no carb diets. I said I eat carbs I just don't eat bread. Anyway to cut a long story short I decided that try

ing to rely on other people to do my work for me will not work. I got myself into this mess I can get out.

I log my food on peertrainer as I find it hard to measure and count calories. I am following what my dietitian gave me (plan 1) and primal (backup plan).

I was proud of my choices today. I made the most divine granola and only ate the amount I'm allowed to eat according to my dietitian despite getting on the scale this morning and seeing a slight gain!

I am an avid exerciser and I love to cook, I try to eat non processed foods. I am a married mother of three teens (almost) 17 DD 16 DS and 12 DS. Our whole eating at home has improved once hubby also joined the lets try not to eat processed foods brigade. We do have some treats at home as we want our kids to want to eat the right foods and not yearn for the junk food.

Now I am focused on stopping my cycle of successful dieting and then putting it all back on.
Looking forward to getting to know you guys.
