I'm excited to be just starting The Beck Diet Solution. Im 3 chapters in and I really feel like this book was written FOR me, Ive been on so many diets,lost a bit of weight, then end up gaining it all back because I fall off the wagon. Today I passed up a cupcake in the breakroom at work that was screaming at me to eat it. But I thought to myself I've got to exercise my resistance muscle!!
got my book last week. have been reading it. taking my time. trying to really make sure i am understanding what will lie ahead. it makes a lot of sense to me so far. i am seeing myself in almost ever paragraph. i am commited to doing exactly as it says. and not to try and change it to what i want. history tells me that never works. once i start putting my spin on any program i have tried i start the downhill slide.
