I bought the book at a rummage sale years ago, without ever having heard of it before. It sat on the shelf for a long time, but once I got serious about my weight loss efforts, I "discovered" there on my shelf, waiting! I had no idea that the book has such a wonderful following - but luckily, through a sparkfriend, I found this Sparkteam!
This is my second time on Sparkpeople. Four years ago, prior to starting grad school, I found Spark and lost 25 pounds, getting within 20 pounds of goal weight. Unfortunately, I got busy in grad school and stopped Sparking, and slowly regained all the weight I had lost, plus more!
What I want, this time, is to not only lose the weight, but to learn better thought patterns and habits so that I can stick out the plan all the way to goal, and then maintain the weight loss successfully. I'm hoping that working through the Beck Diet Solution will help me "learn to think like a thin person" and learn to win, and keep winning, this lifelong battle!
