Hi! I read The Beck Diet Solution about a year ago and am currently rereading it. Some of the 40 steps stuck with me permanently, so I am trying to go back and recondition myself for the ones that I didn't adhere to as well. Right now I am working on giving myself credit. That's one of the toughest for me. I'm really excited about this group and having a chance to talk to other Beck fans!
I started reading the Beck book a couple of weeks ago and I really like it. I've always been a big fan of Cognitive Therapy and I love that she doesn't include a diet in her book - I know EXACTLY what to do, that's not the problem.
It is the little things that have allowed me to lose a grand total of 2 lbs this year - like giving in to snacks, over-eating, and eating mindlessly. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and hearing your best suggestions.
You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere.
