Hi. I just finished my 42 days with Beck. It took a bit longer for me than expected.. but I am energized to continue. I used sparkpeople to track my food but now will add the combination of this program with the Beck work too. :) baby steps are my goal... :) I have a long way to go...

Welcome to the group. The folks here are very nice and very helpful. The tools and techniques in Beck are extremely helpful and you can achieve your goals.

Hello everyone. I am new to this group and I am just reading the Beck diet solution. I have long believed that my weight problem is "not about the food". I can't wait to really get into the books chapters. I have about 50 lbs to lose - again so it feels like the Beck solution was written for me. I just wasn't sure about finding a coach until I found SP and this team. Looking forward to being part of the group.

Hi, Iam joining this team because I read the other Beck book--the green one..and she was so right on about training one to retrain our thoughts. I am 49, just recently discovered Spark, have 20 lbs to lose--I am good at starting things..but bad at sticking to things. I am hoping this team will help me with the sticking...Do I need to purchase the pink book?

Hi and Welcome. The main message thread that we go to every day is called the Daily Check-in. There are also threads that correspond to different "Beck Days" but I am not sure how many people go there. We also have the Coaching Corner to help when you need to work through something and you want other people to get involved.

i everybody!
just wanted to introduce myself. i've read up to page 4 in the beck diet and was so happy to see a group here for it! i'm new to sparkpeople. i'm just wondering how this works...is there a certain discussion that you guys post to everyday to talk about that day's progress, or i don't know...i'm still a little overwhelmed by the mass of information that is sparkpeople! also, i was reading the team goals and wasn't sure about the last one..the principles one. does that come later on and that's why i don't know about it yet?
