Hello. I'm new to the Beck Diet. I've been on Sparkpeople for a year, off and on, but I don't think I had the right mindset. I'm just reading the material and taking my time to get all the materials and people together (diet coach, workbook, etc). But wanted to present myself as a newbie to the Beck Diet.
I need to restart Beck again. I am thinking that some of the tasks really need focus for a lot longer than a day. I am considering moving through the book again, but slow down and unless it is clearly a one day task (selecting a diet, writing my list)-I think I will take a week or so on other things to get them firmly in my mind. In other words, I don't want to rush it, but absorb it.

I have been reading about the Beck Diet Solution from fellow Sparker's blogs and when I came across it in the library I decided to give it a try. I'm only on day 2, but already I like it. I like the way that it breaks things down into little chores so that you don't feel overwhelmed. I'm pretty positive about the way this is going to work for me...I'm looking forward to reading more, and talking to more people on this team about it!
