Glad to have you aboard, SHINEAPPLE!!
I'm new to the Beck Solution too. I've been slowly and carefully reading the book for a week now, savoring every new concept and thought. I finally reached Chapter 5 tonight (Laying the groundwork;) WEEK ONE I feel so at peace about this program. I'm 51 and feel as though after a thirty-some-odd year struggle with my weight and health, this is the most reasonable program I've come in contact with. I'm learning so much. Is the diet that you're talking about (The Skinny on Losing Weight Without Being Hungry)workin for ya? I'll have to google it.

Welcome. What I've done in the past that has worked for me is to make my own diet with what I need to be successful. I've found its easy to get so caught up in the mechanics and then I end up frustrated and feeling overwhelmed. So, make something that works for you.

Hello Beck Team!
I am new to the Beck Solution. I started a few days ago, but got hung up on which diet I wanted to use. According to my husband, I have every diet book under the sun (huge exaggeration on his part). The reason is because I have never found one flexible enough for my taste. So today I decided to try "The Skinny on Losing Weight Without Being Hungry" with South Beach as a backup. I am cautiously optimisitc. Seems like I have tried it all, but I really believe I can do this with the help of the Beck solution. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
