Fast Break Strategies

You’re an individual, with your own quirks, interests, pet peeves and adored foods. A one-size-fits-all approach won’t and shouldn’t have to work for you.

Knowing who you are will go a long way toward knowing what will work for your diet plan. After all, the best weight loss program in the world is not the best selling one or the one with the most impressive quotes backing it up. It’s the one that you feel comfortable with, can stick with and enjoy.

Are you an avid snacker who needs healthier options within arms’ reach? Or do you just need to find a source of comfort that doesn’t include the name Hershey’s or Haagen-Dazs? Your lifestyle may not need the overhaul you think it does. It might just take a few well-placed changes. We’ve developed a tool to find where those changes might be.

To set up your program to match your personality, take this fun personality quiz: the SparkPeople Diet Personality Profiler. It shouldn’t take more than five minutes, but it could save you hours in wasted effort banging your head against a wall that doesn’t need to be there.

Chef Meg's Zucchini Muffins

These muffins are very filling!

The whole wheat flour makes for a dense muffin, which I like. You only need to eat one! If you want a lighter muffin try using whole wheat pastry flour, which is more finely ground and available in the bulk bins at larger grocery stores.
