SparkPeople Working Out at Home Team Messageboard Welcome aboard If you work out at home using dvd's, tapes or even a home gym, this is the team for you! SparkPeople Working Out at Home Team Messageboard New to the team but not SP Hello everyone, I'm not new to SP or exercising at home. We moved at the end of December and there aren't any workout facilities near me now that have lots of exercise equipment like the Y does. I also tore a muscle in my leg at the beginning of December so my exercising is a little limited at the moment. However, I recently bought a Total Gym because they use them at the place where I get physical therapy and it looks as though you can do a lot of exercises with it. I also have resistanc... Does anyone have any suggestions on who I should start with? 15 Fri, 29 Dec 2017 09:22:25 EST Hello Hello all!! I am new to the group but not new to SP. My main goal for joining SP again is to lose weight but quickly realized that I need all the support and motivation as I can muster. My habit is starting something, sometimes I finish, sometimes I don't. A lot of times the things that I start revolve around diet and exercise. My new goal is to learn consistency and allow consistency to be my new habit. My favorite form of exercise is walking. I recently started back walking on the outside b... I'm going to start today (I have tried it loong time ago, but for some reason I forgot it even existed). What are your favourit videos of FB? Have you done any workout plans? Is it worth paying for such plan? Mon, 16 Jan 2017 08:08:52 EST Ideas for "kitchen- workout"? Today I will be making Polish dumplings and it will be a lot of them (so it will take time)! I will also be late home so I won't have time to do a proper training. So I was thinking: maybe I can introduce some excercises in my cooking? Of course not when I'm carrying a pot with boiling water or taking things out of the oven, but when I'm standing and making dumplings? Why not? I was thinking somenthing like: 1 dumpling = 1 squat. It will be, I guess, something like 200 squats.

Or... Thu, 15 Dec 2016 08:14:06 EST Hello everyone! Hi! 524 I'm 34, trying to lose 20-30 lbs. The ony problem for me is that I need to work out at home. So I guess this team is a perfect team for me. I'm looking forward to get to knw people here and to build a solid support-network :) Wed, 14 Dec 2016 02:21:39 EST I'm back I joined about a year ago, and then left due to personal issues, and now I'm back. Between work and school, I'm strapped for time, so I have to workout at home. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Sun, 31 Jul 2016 09:39:05 EST looking for accountability buddy! I was just pondering how it is going.
First, I worked out at least 30 minutes on 5 of the first 7 days, skipping Saturday and Sunday, which is my plan.
Second, I tracked 5 of the 7 days faithfully. The 2 days I did not track were days in which something knocked me o... Wed, 10 Dec 2014 13:22:14 EST What is Water???? Hello, All
I’m posting this to a couple of groups, because I’m interested in getting a bunch of feedback on this question. As the topic indicates, my question is simply, “What is water?”
To clarify, for tracking and health purposes, what can I track/count towards my water total: only pure H-2-O, or any liquid that I drink? I drink a lot, but not a whole lot of pure, unflavored water.
So, would you consider my morning coffee (with Splenda and a touch of half and half) to be tr... Hello, All,

Well, as I mentioned in my intro, I'm new here 211 . Just wondering what y'all are doing for your exercise time?

Right now I'm (I mean right now, as I just started up today) playing Walk it Out on my Wii. That's about it for my lower body. A few years at this weight has made my knees a bit shaky, so I'm planning on taking it easy on them, until I've dropped a few pounds at least. In the future I have WiiFit to move up to, as well as an ellipti... Thu, 4 Dec 2014 01:45:39 EST Hello, All! Hey everyone! I am not new to SparksPeople but I think I'm finally ready to be serious about weight loss again since I fell off track last June-July-ish. I've lost then gained then lost then gained then lost then gained a LOT of weight (around 30 that's actually stayed off) over the past 2 years and I just want to get serious and finish these last lbs. I gained 10 lbs back in the past 5-6 months and I'm not too happy about it. I started the year off great and had lost 25 lbs in about 5 months... I started back with Spark People this past August. I biked a lot when the weather was warmer but now I use exercise DVD's. I hoping to find tips from others about what DVD's have worked for them. I prefer to exercise at home as I have the space and time and cheap. I am looking for some new challenges. Mon, 5 Nov 2012 06:46:59 EST Never introduced myself I'm a newbie here but been around spark for a while. I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things. I was running consistantly up until my 5k in August then just fizzled out. Life got in the way and I let it. Bad Me! Lots of stressors right now so I want to get back into my yoga DVDs to start and then go from there. I have 2 kids and work second shifts so those are small hurdles to my goals. I hope to learn some tricks of the trade here. I have exercise equipment and many exercise DVDs. I love working out at home. I do not belong to a gym and have no desire to join one. Sun, 22 Apr 2012 10:10:37 EST Hello Hi there, I'm new to Spark People. I joined back in August last year but only really making full use of the site now. I'd like to lose 7 - 14lbs and focus on good nutrition. Thu, 19 Apr 2012 08:05:31 EST Hi, I'm new here... New to this team, back for my third or fourth time to SparkPeople. I'm having more success this time around because I gave up a daily glass of wine (or a few)... so I have been sober since 3/15/12 and on a pretty strict Mediterranean diet regimen that I set up myself. Lots of H20 and about an hour of exercise a day is helping. I work an hour from home, so I lose two hours a day to the commute. I have a pretty demanding schedule once I get home, too... so my solution has been to do a 25-minute...
