SparkPeople Losing Easy in the Big Easy (New Orleans) Team Messageboard This is a team for follow Creasant City members. I figure that if we are strong enough to rebuild together, we can be even stronger losing weight together. SparkPeople Losing Easy in the Big Easy (New Orleans) Team Messageboard Hello...anyone out there?! I wish our group was a little more active on here. I would love to chat with locals about their goals and whatnot. It seems we don't even have a leader anymore. Does anyone feel the same way I do? Sigh. Fri, 16 Mar 2012 22:37:34 EST Signing Off! Morning team. I just wanted to wish you all the best of luck. I joined Spark People to drop a few pounds and get healthy. I was looking for a team that was more involved with encouraging each other. Hopefully you will get a team leader and be able to be more supportive of each other. If you are one of the few active members I think you will benefit from finding a different group. Good luck to each and every one of you!! 220 Thu, 10 Nov 2011 08:39:11 EST Developing Healthy Habits! I have incorporated walking into my daily life. I have given up cigerettes and Dr. Pepper. I am watching what I eat. The changes I have been making are becoming habits already, and hubby and grandson enjoy the walks we take after dinner. 224 Wed, 9 Nov 2011 13:09:41 EST Get Active Team!! Good morning team!! I was able to walk3 miles this morning and plan another walk for this afternoon. We are luck here in NOLA that the weather allows us to get out and enjoy the day. Sparkguy says the more active you are with a team the better your changes of making changes, so lets get moving and become more active with the team!! 252 Tue, 8 Nov 2011 10:15:16 EST Get Active Team!! I walked my grandson to daycare and then walked to Bible study. Round trip for both is 2 miles. Trying to walk whenever possible. Plus I'm saving gas and being green. Feels good!! 244 Mon, 7 Nov 2011 09:26:17 EST A Glorious Morning in NOLA Good morning team. I was up early because of the time change so I went for a 3 mile walk. I enjoyed watching the sun come up, hearing the birds chirp, and watching the squirrels run and play. The weather was great for my outing. If you missed the opportunity to get out there and see God's creation wake up this morning you really missed a blessing. Have a great Sunday and remember to keep moving. 244 Sun, 6 Nov 2011 09:29:27 EST Get Involved!! Come on team, get involved and encourage each other!! 220 Sat, 5 Nov 2011 09:15:38 EST What Motivates You!! Good morning team. I was just wondering what motivates you? I got a hair cut yesterday and dyed my hair red. For some reason I feel more determined when I have red hair. I am walking between 1.5 and 3 miles a day. I'm not seeing a big drop on the scales yet but know that will come in time. I feel better about myself and that's what is important. Shake it up....motivate yourselves!! 104 Fri, 4 Nov 2011 09:21:05 EST Unfriendly Scales The scales are not my friend. I was discouraged at weight in today. I can feel a change in the fit of my pants, not a lot, but some. Remember that the scales are not the way to gauge your progress. 46 Wed, 2 Nov 2011 09:30:03 EST Blew It!
