So Brittney Griner comes out last week AND lands the Nike contract. Yet the world kinda shrugged it off until Jason Collins came out (plays NBA basketball). 1) I hate my body and am almost never seen (even in summer) without at least shorts and a shirt.

2) I NEVER post pictures of myself online because I hate people to see how fat I am and because I've heard that any photo you put online can be viewed by anyone with a computer.

A friend of mine suggested I check out SparkPeople.com after I shared with her that I didn't know where else to turn to deal with my weight issues.

Since we have entered the season of being greeted at the doors of our local stores with Salvation Army's bellringers, I am curious how people feel about their historically anti LGBT practices and donating to the bellringers.

The community of course is quite divided with some folks stating that they do alot of good and because they are a church, they are just promoting their religion (which of course isn't LGBT friendly). There is a FB page titled Boycott the Salvation Army.
