I have a 6 year old miniature poodle. I like walking but until reading on here had never thought of taking her on my walks thinking that an hour would be too far for her to go, now I am reading otherwise she will get to join me on my walks. She still has a lot of energy and I think is bored around the house. We play ball a lot and she loves to tease by stealing things to get your attention. She hates it when I get on this ... To hear her tell it, it is taking forever, but I happen to know she has lost 18 lbs since last Thanksgiving. Still, she says she needs to lose some more to be healthy. I am helping because I LOVE to go for walks. She says I "read the newspaper" because I sniff everything as we go so I can find out what's up in the neighborhood. We used to do tracking which was my favorite thing in the world to do, but there aren't many here who do it just for fu... Cole turned 12 this year and is doing well. I found a great supplement that has really helped him out. Besides giving him glucosomine daily, I give him Wag by pet research and have really seen a difference in his ability to move around. I usually don't promote stuff, but it really is great and I know how many of you worry about our babies.

Hope everyone here is well and although I haven't been on - I keep track of folks. Raider is very sick. He's been having seizures now for about three months. He's started biting and is now refusing to go outside to go to the bathroom. He won't come out of his crate without having to be physically removed. My vet is recommending putting him down as apparently he's just getting sicker and his behavioral problems (She thinks) are due to him being in pain. We think he has cancer. She is partially blind, deaf, and a diabetic on insulin shots twice a day. She has such a good disposition and never complains about the shots. I used to own a white standard poodle before Daisy. She is quite light in colour, with apricot ...
