THE FOOD WAS SALTY ENOUGH. THE ONLY THING I HAVE REALIZED THAT NEEDED SALT, WERE MASHED POTATOES. WITH NO SALT AND NO BUTTER, THEY ARE YUCK. I DID DUMP A BUNCH OF PEPPER ON THEM TO CHANGE THEIR COLOR. Mon, 14 May 2012 13:41:21 EST Getting Started Yesterday, I ate my first meal with no salt. I only used pepper, and I have to tell you on the mashed potatoes, I didn't even use butter. I know it will take some getting used to. I've told myself I can do it. When I did track my food and post daily it helped me really look at what I was eating, looking at labels, get creative with recipes to get my sodium low and keep it low. Fri, 2 Dec 2011 12:15:19 EST Looking for Poultry/Meats with the Least Sodium Hello all: I've been reading meat labels a lot more lately, and I've noticed that meats have a lot of sodium plus other ingredients injected into them. I'm not talking tenders and stuff like that which I automatically assume does, but chicken thighs, breasts, whole chicken, beef, pork, etc. They inject sodium and chemicals into everything these days. Does anyone know which brands use the least sodium? Fri, 2 Dec 2011 07:23:49 EST New Here! Hello all! I'm fairly new to Spark and am trying to cut down on my sodium. The older I get, the easier it gets to retain water. I do 99% of my own cooking from scratch, but have noticed even natural foods have sodium, not to mention what I sprinkle on my food. So I decided a team would be the best way to get ideas on low sodium.

I'm trying to lose weight, pre-diabetic, hypothyroid and have sleep apnea.
