I'm working on paying off the card but it doesn't help that now we're old we have doctor bills to pay off also. I'm just horrible at this; I need to relearn my thrift!!! Some stores you just know, because there names are well known and have been around forever. But what about the rest? Everyone is encouraged to bike or walk for those little trips to the market and save the car for trips over 2 miles or major grocery shopping. We even have free transit in several towns in the area. So the discussions don't get stale we'll change them every few days. I realize that not everyone's situation is the same but we all ought to be able to come up with something to share with the others and who knows what we might learn from each other. I like the idea of coming up with menus since groceries take a big chunk out of our pay checks. So here is the first challenge.

Go through your c... We're staying with my mother for a few days and then travelling to see other relatives where we'll be in hotels and we'll spend 2 days in Orlando at Universal.

Can anyone share any tips? Given the uncertainty of the U.S. economy - world economy, in fact - I'm glad I've gotten into lots of frugal habits, but there's always more to learn, and this forum looks like a good place to do just that.
