Tue, 13 Mar 2007 18:32:15 EST Should I move to next step? I was just wondering if someone could help me. I should be starting step 2 of fast break tomorrow, but since I've been sick with some GI bug for the past few days and still have it, should I hold off until I get feeling better and get calories/cardio goals back on track? Or, just go ahead and start step 2 and catch up as I get feeling better?
I appreciate any advice!
Karen Sun, 11 Mar 2007 16:17:11 EST Need advice, ideas or something. Okay This isn't so much a vent, as it is a question but it is annoying and maybe someone can give me some advice.

This was my day today, My tummy hurts cause I have been eating all day and this is as far as I can go. How the bloody #$^@&* do you keep in range of your cals, fat, carbs, and protein?

Most of the time I am forcing myself to eat just so I can even get close enough to my range. I recently had a big falling out with my now ex-boyfriend and decided it was time for some changes. I want to work on me and really better myself.

I am 21 yrs old as of January 29th and I notice I am really filling out in the hips and tummy area. This worries me cause there is a huge obesity problem in my family I love them all to death but I want to try to curve that path before it is too late. Plus like almost every girl I want that lean body. <BR... Fri, 9 Mar 2007 01:53:01 EST Nutrition Calories Is there any way to manually enter calories of foods we eat if the food listing doesn't agree with what the package lists?

The Yoplait yogurt listing for the tracker lists 50 more calories than what it says on the package. I'd like to be able to change it or at least get it close. I have lots of work to do to get down to my calorie goals, but I'll take 50 calories where i can get it.

Thanx
Maureen Thu, 8 Mar 2007 09:59:41 EST Fat/Carb /Protein Breakdown Here's a question -

I've been keeping an eye this week on what percentage of my calories are from fat/carbs/protein - you know, that little pie chart that shows you what your values are and what they should be when you press "Today's Full Report" on your nutrition page.

I've found that this past week I pretty consistently took in too many carbs and not enough fat (protein is about right). Now, too many carbs is no shocker, but not eating enough fat certainly seems count... Thu, 8 Mar 2007 02:31:06 EST First night of having takeaways... aka McDonalds! I'm not sure if I'll enjoy it. I'm getting a salad and little bag of apples. NO fries, no burger, not even a diet coke. Only what I had said.

Nice thing is it only adds up to 391 cals too! I'm *Somehow* going to have McDonalds and still be at only 12** cals today :) Thu, 8 Mar 2007 01:58:31 EST How did you choose your goal weight? Just wondering how people came to your goal number. 20 years ago, I would have thought my goal weight was huge. Now I look at my structure and what makes me feel good, not a fantasy teen-age weight. I used to starve myself as a teenager to look a certain way or fit in a certain size. 30
I did check the BMI thingy too.... I am obviously a very new member as I only joined yesterday. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Oceannabay 213 Wed, 28 Feb 2007 05:28:22 EST Why do you eat? I mentioned in my introduction that I had gained a little weight back. Someone asked why did I start eating again. This has got me thinking.

I think the root of my problem is not eating when I'm hungry, I'm an emotional eater. Tue, 27 Feb 2007 21:40:15 EST um, am I doing this right? Not sure I'm using the right tool to introduce myself. I'm Karen, I'm 220 pounds, I'm quitting Weight Watchers, and doing this instead. (I think I was hoping that if I just paid enough money, for a long enough time, I'd lose weight without having to actually change too much.) SP looks like a good tracking and meal planning system, and I don't have to pay money or keep track of paper program materials. (The last straw was misplacing my WW stuff one more time.) What I will need, though, is... Tue, 27 Feb 2007 14:49:39 EST 3 PART DAILY CHALLENGE Let's get started getting healthier with a very basic challenge.
