Sun, 22 Dec 2013 20:53:08 EST Here I go again. Hi everyone! Here I am again, preparing to try another weight loss program. I feel like I've tried just about every program and system out there (probably not in reality but it sure feels that way) and failed every one of them. I know the mechanics of losing weight, I have trouble sticking with the lifestyle changes required to reach my goals. I guess if I'm to be totally honest here, I get bored with the process and just get lazy and quit trying.

I am 53 years old, married, curre... Wed, 4 Dec 2013 20:05:24 EST Acupuncture for relief
When I could not stand the pain of GERD any more and my doctors were at their wits end as well, I turned to Chinese medicine. I found a Chinese doctor who is also an acupuncturist. At first, I went for treatment every 3 days for two weeks, then every week, then every month. Now, I go when I feel I need it. Sun, 1 Dec 2013 09:55:28 EST Glad I'm here Dyspepsia, the new word of the day for me one day ago when I went into the ER with excruciating abdominal pain! Gerd is a serious disease and it has to be dealt with seriously. I'm glad to see I have this team for support. Thanks to SP Sat, 30 Nov 2013 19:09:20 EST Introduction. Hi from Canada.
I'm here to introduce myself, trying to lose a little weight after a difficult summer healthwise. Also to find any help I can get with my severe GERD. My doctors have done all they can, so I've turned to acupuncture, which is helping me a great deal. Far fewer symptoms, much less severe, and a lot more positive energy.

I'm glad to be here and hope I can perhaps help someone else with my experience over the years.

Thu, 28 Nov 2013 07:52:02 EST Gerd and Chest Pain I have been recently diagnosed with "suspected" gerd and am taking a PPI. It all started with severe pain in the entire bra area which I went to the ER for and they ruled out any problem with the heart.
I still get this "discomfort" every once in awhile although never as painful but am trying to understand it. I also had eccho/sonograms on my liver, ducts and heart to rule out other causes.
Does anyone else get this chest pain/discomfort? Mon, 25 Nov 2013 09:06:57 EST So here I am. Wish me luck! Hi Everyone,
I am a 46 year old husband and father of two kids, both currently in college, and I work in Olympic sports. I enjoy writing, reading, guitar playing and computer gaming (in moderation).
I have climbed on (and fallen back off) the weight loss wagon many times over the years with only 3-4 of those attempts meeting with any degree of success albeit temporary.
