You breathe in a mouthpiece for about 15 minutes and they come up with a number that is the amount of calories that you burn at rest. My number came in low at 1288. Chris Powell says not to go below 1200 on your low days, but my metabolism is about 30% lower than most people for my height and frame. What do you think my low day should be? 1000?

Katie Mon, 20 May 2013 13:00:11 EST Progress Report http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x58380x53345909 I'm hoping this will help fellow members keep on track..

Starting weight: 225
Saturday weight in (end of week 5) : 210 104
So far so good.. Tue, 14 May 2013 18:24:43 EST Confused http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x58380x53343300 I just read the book last night and liked the concept very much. In looking at the portions, they don't appear to add up to the calories required for cycling. The breakfast menus are 300 calories at the most. Do you just double the portions to make your caloric requirement? Are the snacks supposed to be the same amount of calories as a meal?

Thanks in advance for your help! I am accustomed to following a diet with a menu plan.

KatieScarlett99javascript:void(0) <em... However I am doing his workout video, Chris Powell - The Workout and trying to eat healthier. Since this was the only Chris Powell Team I figured I'd join. I LOVE his workouts! I tried level 1 but needed something a bit more of a workout so I moved to level 2. Much better. Not to strenuous yet made you sweat some. I have learned that.....Its all about control of motion NOT how fast you can go. That and I love seeing people more like me(no... Vemma. Its basically carb cycling, but I'm having trouble finding food that I like or can eat. I'm looking for ideas for low carb and high carb foods that will be good for me. I'm lactose intolerant so milks and cheese are out of the running and I can't do seafood. I just can't stomach it. I know that sounds weird but I've never really liked seafood. Like I said...
