I decided to join the 8 week challenge. I am not on medication yet but my last a1c number was 7. I keep gaining wait and all of this info over whelms me. I am so confused. I hate diets and exercise but I think I am ready to take this very seriously. This web sight seems to look great but I am Confused and would like help with it. My question is - does anyone have a rough time carb counting in every-day life when food isn't pre-packaged and labeled with the carbs? It's just not feasible to weigh everything you eat before you eat it - and it's those times that I don't always do a great job estimating carbs (like out to eat, etc.) -- anyone have any tips? I think it's a big part of my blood sugar's going up and down...
