Sat, 4 Jun 2011 13:15:14 EST Weekend obstacles Hi fellow 90 dayer's! I have another question for you! How do you do on the weekends, or your days off whatever they might be, as far as sticking to a healthy eating plan and getting exercise?

As for me, any time my husband is home it's a trial because he is ALWAYS eating and makes me want to eat too! Not having to worry about weight (he actually could gain 10 or 15 lbs...) Gunn loves to eat lots of fattening unhealthy food late at night. AARRGGHH! I have to learn to be strong... Sat, 4 Jun 2011 13:14:36 EST Wondering if anyone has ever done 2 in 1 day. Missed to Tabata last night, watched 127 Hours. I am doing it today and thinking of doing shoulders & arms later this afternoon. Anyone do 2 a day?
Sat, 4 Jun 2011 07:12:17 EST Deal on threaded dumbbell bars If anyone is looking, there's a deal for threaded standard dumbbell handles on Overstock, free shipping until 5/31, I think. Picked up a set so that I could have 2 levels of weights, without having to spend a massive outlay on hex dumbbells, etc.

14-inch-Threaded-Dumbbell-Bars/5103358
/product.html
Mon, 30 May 2011 22:12:17 EST Postponing a workout til tomorrow I am supposed to do Legs today, but it is already in my training schedule to do 6 miles tomorrow. Should I skip it till Friday or go ahead. Running is also important. Thu, 26 May 2011 15:38:22 EST Supreme Rock Hard Abs Have you purchased the Bonus yet? Is it worth the $6? Thu, 26 May 2011 11:56:03 EST Cardio disc day I haven't watched this one yet - is it truly cardio based? I was thinking I would log it at cardio with calorie burn. Wed, 25 May 2011 13:24:35 EST Do you use the post workout recovery drink? Hi fellow 90 dayer's...I'm curious to know if any of you are using the post workout recovery drink? If so, I'd love to hear a review!

As for me, I'm not using it because money's too tight to mention these days.
Have a good day fellow team members! Wed, 25 May 2011 13:14:14 EST Hi! Okay, so I don't actually have the Supreme 90 yet. I ordered it from BB&B because no stores around here carried it. Now I'm anxiously awaiting it to start the program. I've been wanting to do one of these 90 days ones - but they are so expensive generally.

I'm going to start the program, then going to have to take a break because I'll be all over the place in July. I'm a teacher - so I tend to travel a bit in July. Then depending on my mood I'll either pick up where I left off... Mon, 23 May 2011 18:17:38 EST Do you take supplements? Hi fellow 90 dayer's...just wondering if you take supplements and vitamins? If so, which ones and why?

As for me, I take Calcium with Vitamin D for Osteoporosis and Red Yeast Rice for elevated total cholesterol. My cholesterol is actually fine even though the total is elevated because my HDL (the good) is extremely high and my LDL (the bad) is extremely low. But I still take the Red Yeast Rice and am anxious for my next lipid panel to see if it brings my total cholesterol down a ... Mon, 23 May 2011 11:59:55 EST Time off already I had to take off 3 days - I had a race on Saturday, didn't think it would be wise to do it on the night before the race - race day I was wiped out due to the heat and Sunday - I don't know what happened. I will be back at it tonight though. Mon, 23 May 2011 11:31:12 EST Ultimate Ball Am I the only one who had issues with the Pike Up and the Skiers? OMG - I didn't know a human body could move like that. Wed, 18 May 2011 10:40:57 EST Other Exercise (Cardio) I am trying to become a runner. I began the Couch To 5K program last fall and ran my first real 5k race last month. I'm signed up for two more races this month, two more next month, and I plan to do at least one a month through the rest of the summer. So, running is important to me and I have been on a regular schedule of running every other day for a long time now.

I'm starting Supreme 90 today and I am curious to know if any of you have kept up with additional cardio while on the... Tue, 17 May 2011 15:10:27 EST What is your favorite post workout snack or meal? Hi fellow 90 dayer's...I'm curious...what is your favorite post workout meal or snack?

As for me, I really love a high protein fruit smoothie about 15 minutes after I work out. I combine non-sweetened protein powder, a serving each of frozen peaches and berries of some kind, a banana, 1-2 tbsp of ground flaxseed, 2 tsp. cinnamon, one packet of truvia sweetener and water. It makes a HUGE smoothie and is so yummy. I think sometimes I get through the workouts simply because I can t... Tue, 17 May 2011 13:45:35 EST which S90 workout is your favorite? Hi fellow 90 dayer's...yet another question! Which workout do you like the best in the S90 workout system?
As for me, I haven't done them all yet since I've only been on the program 2 weeks, but so far I enjoy the chest/back workout the best but for the endorphin and energy rush I like the tabata inferno. Mon, 16 May 2011 21:07:20 EST Which workout is your toughest? Hi fellow 90 dayer's! Another question for you...which workout dvd is the toughest for you to face and get through?
For me it's LEGS...I have a hard time with all the lunges and it just seems to drag on forever. I don't know if it's because of the arthritis I have in my knees and hips or if it's just general weakness. Time will tell and in the meantime I will just stobbornly keep at it. Mon, 16 May 2011 11:09:34 EST have you tried the abs dvd yet? Hi fellow 90 dayer's! I was wondering how many of you have tried the abs dvd yet? I have not tried it yet and feel a bit apprehensive about it. I'm guessing it's tough. Would love to hear team member's experience with it! Sun, 15 May 2011 21:22:48 EST Trade Secrets from fellow team members I just read the following article and thought it was interesting and useful. Sun, 15 May 2011 17:09:55 EST tracking workouts...ST or cardio? Hi fellow 90 dayer's...yet another question! When tracking your workouts, aside from the Infrerno and Cardio Challenge, do you track them as ST or cardio? My heart rate goes up and stays up for all of the workouts but I'm not sure it counts as cardio. I have been tracking them as ST except for the obvious cardio dvd's.
How do you do it? Wed, 11 May 2011 13:49:30 EST Sore Wrists? Hey Y'all! I am so thankful for this group and y'all's blogs.

I am only on day 2 but my wrists hurt! On the ball today every time we rolled out with straight arms my wrists really hurt. Is there something I could do to strengthen them or . .well will my wrists eventually get stronger as I do this??

May be a dumb question but I feel like I was really distracted by it. Tue, 10 May 2011 19:52:04 EST Happy Mother's Day! I just wanted to wish all you moms a very Happy Mother's Day! Do y'all have any special plans?

As for me, our son is in Alaska for the fishing season and our daughter has 3 children of her own and she and her fiancee like to have a nice quiet family day. That leaves Gunn and I to our own devices which is fine. Having each other is really all we need.

Have a wonderful day whatever you do and if you are not a mom I still hope your day is fabulous! Sat, 7 May 2011 18:48:54 EST Faces and Names Hi fellow 90 dayer's, I was wondering, for those who want to anyway, if we could introduce ourselves by our real names and identify ourselves if our profile pic has multiple people? I have such an easier time relating to people when I can put a name to a face. I understand though if some of you just wish to remain anonymous and go by your user name. I hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes.

I'm Kelly and I'm the girl in the pic. (kind of feels like an AA intro, doesn't it?) Fri, 6 May 2011 19:00:26 EST Hi from Kentucky Hi I am fairly new to SparkPeople and I am new to posting also. I actually bought the Supreme 90 Say DVDs before I joined the site. I am on day 30 and I am following the calendar. Sometimes I do other DVDs or exercises in between days so I actually have been working through the days longer than 30 days. I have lost maybe 10 plus pounds since I started with it. I didn't do measurements before starting but I can tell that I am toning up and losing everywhere. I am 57 years old and I can keep up... Fri, 6 May 2011 14:33:06 EST Rest Days Hi fellow 90 dayer's, I'm curious you take a total rest from exercise on your rest days or do you fit in some type of cardio or other exercise? As for me, I am planning on doing 30-40 minutes of cardio on my rest days. I like to do low impact aerobics for 20-30 minutes and 3-4 evenings a week I do step ups with my old "fanny lifter" bench for 20 minutes. It is a good cardio workout that goes fast while watching a movie. I'd love to know what y'all are doing on your rest days. ... Thu, 5 May 2011 14:38:20 EST Are you following the Supreme Nutrition plan? I'm just curious other 90 dayer's, how many of you are following the food plan that came with the dvd set? I would be really interested to know. As for me, I'm sticking with my general routine with is a lot like the eating plan since I always have some kind of lean protein with complex carbs for meals but my in between meals usually consist of yogurt, cheese and I have to admit, a few pretzels here and there. I know the plan doesn't allow for cheese and yogurt but I can't give mine up comp... Wed, 4 May 2011 19:22:00 EST Overcoming Obstacles Hello Everyone,

I was going to send this message in an email, but sometimes when we read what other people have to say, we tend to learn a lot about ourselves in some way.

I would like to know what you’re biggest obstacle is when doing a fitness program, (not working out consistently, not eating properly, etc).

Also, besides from Supreme 90 Day, are you currently doing any other workout programs?

Before, my biggest issue was starting a workout pro... Sun, 1 May 2011 21:47:42 EST Hi, I'm new Hi all,
I'm new to the team. I am starting my Supreme 90 day challenge on May 3rd and am so glad I found this team! I've been sparking for a while now but went through a recent illness that put some weight on me and kept me from working out for over a month. Now I feel like I'm starting all over and really need a program that will kick my butt. I hope I've found it in 90 day and am looking forward to getting tips and advice from you all as well as support and friendship! Sun, 1 May 2011 14:00:19 EST Hey all! Just wanted to check in and say hello to everyone! Just picked up Supreme 90 Day @ Bed Bath and Beyond for $15 after reading a SP blog about it and doing some research online. I'm an avid cyclist and am on Day 6, tomorrow. I'm working on eating clean but not necessarily following the Supreme 90 Day meal plan due to my increased caloric needs due to my riding. Wishing you all luck on achieving your personal goals! 306 Sat, 30 Apr 2011 22:30:56 EST Welcome!! Sat, 30 Apr 2011 00:06:07 EST Workout chart downloads On the site a message board poster set up a link to workout charts you can download and print to track your reps and weight. I bought the program back at the beginning of Feb and had great plans of getting my 90 days in by today, April 29th - 2 days after my 46th birthday. Well that didn't happen. I had weather related leaks in my livingroom ceiling, which was my workout area. My house has been torn up for the last 2 months and finally as of today the ceiling work and painting has been completed!! Yay!! So this weekend I will be cleaning and putting my house back together and hopefully starting May 1st, I can ... Fri, 29 Apr 2011 17:18:11 EST Starting soon...
