I'm nearing the autumn of my years and I need to loose about 56lbs. I've recently had a bad bout of work related stress that sent my blood pressure high and created a situation where just eat and eat which affected my cholesterol levels. In all it was a spiralling downward journey for me. I'm now in the throws of a new dawn for me and the journey is fraught with temptations of bad food and old ... No water! OMG! We've all seen the commercials for Truvia - how it's natural because it comes from a plant. I noticed that a lot of my carbs/cals were coming from sugar in my coffee and sugar in my tea. So .. I thought I'd give Truvia a try. Ok .. so it SAYS it's 0 calories. BUT .. if you look at the Facts on the box it says it has 3g of carbs. Carbs x 4 = 12 calories. <BR> <BR> So .. my question is ... how is this REALLY calorie... I have only lost a couple pounds. I feel stronger but, I want the belly gone.. I don't see any change in my size regarding my clothes. But I got it now. I'm 59 years old and the weight is no longer creeping up on me, it is galloping. Decided I have to do something. Motivation is my key detractor (or lack there of). Then I get discouraged and stop. I am tired of being in constant pain. I want to lose the weight and strengthen my core. That is my goal.
