Mon, 21 Aug 2017 22:37:27 EST Free-motion Machine quilting at home I want to be able to do free-motion quilting using my new Singer Superb, a basic machine with lots of different stitches. However, after lowering the feed dogs, they resume to the raised position while stitching is engaged. I made several attempts to lower the feed dogs using the lever switch in the back of the machine, but each time they rise automatically without me changing their setting. Again and again, the feed dogs pop up from the lowered position on their own after approximately 10 st... The machine light itself does not illuminate brightly over a broad area of the presser foot. So I invested in the Bendable Bright Light because it advertised lighting for 20 years or 100,000 hours of use. Well, today, the light no longer illuminates and, to my dismay, it is made with a non-replaceable light bulb. <BR> <BR> Do you use additional lighting focused at your needle/presser feet area? Well lets see I am 47 yo female, I had gastric bypass surgery in Oct 2007 started at 253 got down to 135 and looked like i was on my way out. So I gained some weight back and now i need to lose about 30 to 40lbs. I am excited and yet terrified. The previous five pounds were a battle like no other, my body is no comfortable where it is and does not seem to want to lose any more.
