I recently got to an all time high of 315lbs and decided I really needed to step up to the plate and fix this. I started 5 days ago with a juice cleanse and will be starting the 17 day diet next. The juice cleanse worked well. The first day was tough but really didn't have any issues after that other than some of the juices weren't very tasty. Today is my last juice day and I have lost 12 lbs in these first 4 days. I loved readin... I lost a great deal of weight doing Medifast about a year ago (almost 100 pounds) and got down to 160 and size 10, I felt fabulous and loved wearing how I looked but it has been creeping back on again and I am now back up to 220. On C1. I wondered if those who have been successful on this diet could share what they eat during the day. Just a week's worth of your daily meals would be really helpful. And amount you ate at each meal. I have a lot of 17 DD recipes that I've printed out but would like to have some help in putting a menu together. Thank you so much ! I've been on the 17 Day Diet before - about 2 years ago. I did it on my own with no support. Lost about 15 lbs but, for personal reasons, didn't stick with it. Only got as far as Cycle 2 and gained the weight back. I do remember this diet did help firm up my buttocks, abs, and thighs - where I carry most of my weight. And one of the main reasons I decided to go back on it. Started one week ago. Have about 40 lbs to loose. Tomorrow is a new day!! 198 Sat, 16 Feb 2013 22:50:05 EST First day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x47217x52149103 Hello!
I am starting the ''17 day diet'' today!
In one month from now is my daughters 4th b.party and i would like to wear something nice have 50 extra pounds and i am wondering how much weight i can lose in a month with the 17 day diet?? 30 Sat, 16 Feb 2013 12:19:09 EST 17 Day Diet sickness? http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x47217x52126317 So i've been on the 17 Day Diet for 8 days, and the last few days i've noticed that i've been feeling really sick and moody. Today for lunch I had a chicken salad, and I felt absolutely nauseous afterwards. And as i've mentioned i'm feeling angry all the time. I don't know if my body is detoxing, or i'm actually getting sick. I've been working out regularly, and I've been diligently tracking my calorie consumption. Also, i feel like i'm not eating enough.

Any ideas/thoughts? Thu, 14 Feb 2013 17:18:50 EST First Day http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x47217x52080360 I did the 17DD last year and had some great success--I lost roughly 33 pounds in a three month period. However, due to moving and other things going on, I started eating unhealthily. I've gained back 12 pounds!! Most of that was due to poor eating choices and stress.

I'm back on board though! Just started day 1 of cycle 1. My birthday was yesterday, so I have so many leftovers that I cannot eat now...so it's a temptation zone at home. Thankfully, there's the freezer and some hungry... Today is my first day of cycle 1. So far, I think I have done well, but I am HUNGRY :( I know, I know, it is a diet--I am going to be hungry LOL. One question I have is, what is the amount of fruit we can have. For instance, for a snack I plan on having red grapes. How many can I have? I ordered an egg white veggie omlete, no cheese because they didn't have a reduced fat option. My 5 year old ate my pancakes and hasbrowns and we both had green tea.
