Lately I have been getting muscle cramps, I don't mean mild ones but ones that bring you to your knees, bring tears to your eyes or make you want to amputate the appendage. Most of the severe ones happen at night while I'm in bed, These are usually in my calves, (they sometimes will happen when I stretch.) my thighs, and ankles, that one was... However after not taking it for a year or so I took it again when arthritis in my knee flared up again. This time I experienced periodic erratic heart rate. It only occurred 2-3 times a day and lasted only a few seconds. I tried taking them again and the same thing happened. This worried me so I quit taking them. I should mention that I don't have any heart problems. I am wondering if anyone... Sat, 1 Jun 2013 16:46:36 EST Hello from San Diego http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=-1x4663x53528468 As they say "misery loves company" which is why I joined this team. I am only half joking as I I injured myself around 14 years ago and ended up having a lateral menisectomy in my left knee. I am told I need a TKR but trying to hold off to see if "stem cell" or other less intrusive procedures might become available. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might know more about new procedures coming down the pike. <BR> <BR> Thanks Everyone! Fri, 17 May 2013 14:04:27 EST Hello http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=-1x4663x53271335 Hi - I'm somewhat sporadic about using the web for my weight loss. I know that having a community to help is supposed to make this easier, but to be honest, checking in every day always seemed like a chore to me. So I guess that's why I haven't been on the Spark website in about 5 years. I figured I was getting the emails and that was enough. But it clearly wasn't. It's not that I haven't lost weight in that time - I've actually gained weight. So much that my doctor said I had to lose about 4... If you look at my SparkPage you will read why I am finally getting on board. Right now I am taking baby steps by lurking on the board and weeding through all of the many options and activities there are in SparkPeople. That's what I love - something for everyone! My teacher buddies brought in a cake for lunch and then I went out to eat and they brought me a birthday dessert (which I couldn't resist). I did manage to control the dinner part - only ate half of everything. But I just seem to be in a "munchie" stage and having problems controlling portions. I've just got to get back to weighing, measuring, and tracking what I eat (that is most helpful). I woke up with my back hurting and I've got so much to do today - it never s...
