But once it got started everything went much better than expected. The doctor felt confident that a good recovery is to be expected. The outcome is not anything we expected. The gall bladder was removed, but they found numerous tumors (which they believer to be cancerous) in her lower and upper abdominal area. They are sending her home with a specialist follow up on Monday to discuss a plan of attack. They did indicate another surgery. I will admit that I am beside myself right now, but will keep positive thoughts and say many prayers too.
