The need for our work is beyond question. SparkPeople American Heart Association Team Messageboard Hello I wanted to introduce myself. I am Rosemary and I at the moment do not have heart issues. My father has had 2 heart attacks and also a very large anyurism (spelled wrong) repaired in which he almost died from. I have some relatives who are also suffering from heart issues that seem to be running in the family. I would like to learn more about how to prevent it from happening as much as I can. I know I won't be able to avoid it all but I would like to do my best to control what I can. I have a lot of heart problems so I have to eat and exercise to stay healthy and live as long as I can. I will be 72 in three days and would like to make it to 80.
