I have an almost 6 month old and am still trying to figure out ways to prepare healthy meals after my husband gets home from work. I'm used to being able to spend hours cooking - not anymore! I have to be a lot more organized and mindful of planning now. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. Wed, 22 Sep 2010 22:27:09 EST Tami's Menu 9/23 I am loving my latest menu plan method: grab a favorite foodie mag and pick out six dishes. Make a grocery list and shop. Viola!

Then, I leave a sticky note on the inside page of the mag with my meals list, and keep the magazine out on my kitchen island. This does 3 things: it simplifies my planning, the glossy pics inspire me, and the visual reminder helps me remember to prep my food in the morning.

These are from a 2009 October issue of CL:

1) Beer-Brais...
