I re-joined sparkpeople in Dec 2012 with the goal of losing 50 lbs. I have been tracking my food daily and doing at least 20-30mins of jogging 4-5 times a week. So far I lost about 7lbs, its going slow and can become discouraging, but I think I will stick with it. Today I had a reality check ..I work part time in a pet store and I lug around 40 pound bags of dog food thru out the day and it dawned on me that I need to lose 2 of those !! It feels great to have my body move and build strength and agility. I just started Zumba classes - signed up for weekly class with my sister and husband and also did a drop in class this week. I have been going to Curves for about 5 years now - just reached my 700th time about a week ago. I work hard there and get a lot out of it. Usually I go 2-3 times a week.
