I'm taking my goals in smaller chunks and going with a "week streak" for the first week of March - Track water, exercise, food as usual, work on my cuticle biting habit, read 15 minutes per day, continue working on picture gallery. Sat, 20 Mar 2010 12:26:29 EST Hello to All I am in my mid 50's and have been on many diets over and have lost probably hundreds of pounds, only to gain them back in a short time, plus a few new pounds. I have come to realize that if I am not following some sort of nutrition regimen then I am gaining weight. I love sparkspeople for the nutrition and fitness tracking. I am in week 4 and have lost 5 pounds so far. My goal is to lose a total of 25 pounds by mid-August. This week is not looking good. I have stayed within all my goals... When I put in the nutritional content, it was just under 300 I ate it all for lunch this week. I know I need to watch portion size. I am a little intimidated by the number, but know I can do it. I have signed up for the Avon 2-day breast cancer walk in July in order to push myself to get out there and work out. So far so good. I have previously lost over 50 pounds but have gradually gained it back and then some. The weight gain was gradual and much of it stress-eating.
