On both they said how the effects of chemo on everyone were a lot more than just the loss of hair. My friend's husband said that she and everyone in the chemo center would flush really red within 15 minutes of starting their infusion. She had a lot less cancer than I did. Whenever I got mine everyone just fell asleep but me. The first two times my leg hurt a lot unless I kept walking ... Thu, 2 May 2013 22:43:07 EST introduction hi.trying this site to try to loose some weight.good luck to all Wed, 1 May 2013 16:05:07 EST Family I don't have, nor have I ever had, cancer. So I feel sort of odd being a part of this team. But my grandma, the only one I have a relationship with, was diagnosed with 4 types of cancer in January of 2012. Non are actually 'fix-able', but they can slow the growth with chemo and treatment, which they are trying. It's hard, because I can't understand why her? Why the only grandmother I have that has always cared and always loved me and is helpful to a fault. Why four types? 1 wasn't hard enough... SP Community Guidelines say I cannot ask you for donations to my fundraising ca... Sat, 23 Jun 2012 22:57:36 EST Hi There :) I just realised that I haven't introduced myself :)

I'm in my mid 40s and just 16 days into being NED (for the 2nd time).

My demon cells started in my colon (who knows when) and were removed in 2006 and I did some 'mop up' chemo. Well those d*mn cells jumped into my blood stream and headed for my lungs (guess they were looking for more fresh air?). I've been kicking those squatters out since late 2009. (Irrotecan/Avastin for 6 months, Xeloda for 2.5 years now).
... Thu, 17 May 2012 10:20:33 EST Some good news and new motivation I just got back from the hospital having my "maintenance" Herceptin infusion and want to share my good news.

On May 2, I have a Syma Scan done on my heart (because of the potential damage to my heart from both the Herceptin and the Arimidex). The last scan shows some degradation in my heart flow but not enough to treat - yet. I was a little worried about what further damage another 3 months on the drugs would have done.

Well (drum roll...) my heart is stronger than it ... They've all been incredibly supportive and take turns doing easier walks with me between their regular ... My last CT showed some cysts in the kidneys and my oncologist had me schedule an ultrasound. The results were mailed to me and he wants to do an MRI.

My dads sister died from kidney cancer. Can lung cancer come back in the kidneys?

I just lost my husband two weeks ago. I found him in insulin shock on December 16, and he was immediately transferred to the Cardiace Intensive Care Unit at the best hospital in Cleveland where h... Mon, 16 Jan 2012 11:18:52 EST IMPORTANT: Take the Share Bar off of your Blog! Through another blog I just learned of a new feature on SparkPeople that automatically added a "Share Bar" to our blog entries. I do not like this feature.
24

If you'll notice your own blog now there is a "Share" bar at the top of the blog. Who wants his/her blog about losing weight to show up on someone else s' facebook wall?

To delete this "Share bar" feature from you... Fri, 13 Jan 2012 17:04:51 EST
